Case Study – Fever-Tree Mixers

Founders of Fever-Tree, Charles and Tim started with the idea that if ¾ of your drink is the mixer, then you should use the best. Their award-winning mixers are now available in 74 countries and proudly served in 9 of the world’s top 10 restaurants.

Their sophisticated new soft drink is made with our High Integrity British Bittersweet Dabinett Apple Concentrate. We lent our expertise to Fever-Tree in finding the perfect apple option – choosing Dabinett because of their deliciously tart bittersweet taste, which, when paired with mint from Morocco, creates a crisp, refreshing and subtly sweet drink.

Up until now, short of drinking overly sweet, sugary soft drinks, it has not been easy to find more sophisticated options that offer great taste, whilst also being low in calories. Fever-Tree’s new sparkling soft drinks range gives consumers that choice with their new Cloudy British Apple

Marketing Director Saskia Meyer, Fever-Tree says: “Apple is a British flavour we all know and love, it’s nostalgic and for so many people it’s one that stems right back to childhood. As an adult, however, it’s hard to find an apple-flavoured soft drink that isn’t too sweet or crafted for children. We wanted to change that by elevating the classic flavour the Fever-Tree way. We specifically sought out cider apples from England’s iconic shire counties which are typically less sweet. Then, we added complexity and a hint of sophistication with the addition of Moroccan mint. Where we have landed is something that is delicious, refreshing and unashamedly adult.”
